How do I schedule an item that counts weekends and holidays, such as concrete curing?With an elapsed duration, the item counts every calendar day.

How do I schedule an item that counts weekends and holidays, such as concrete curing?

Steps

  1. Open the item and tick Elapsed Duration.
  2. Type its Duration in calendar days (for example, 7 days of curing).
  3. Save: the finish counts Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and the successor can start on Monday.
Site note

For a wait between two items without creating a new item, use a lag in elapsed days on the link (`+7ed`).

In the Gantt an elapsed duration is shown in italics.
